A bit about me
I care about making a difference to people’s lives. Working in medical negligence law gives me the satisfaction of helping my clients to recover and rebuild their lives. It is intellectually challenging and demands my best work and attention at all times.
I spend a lot of my time listening to my clients, both so that they feel at ease communicating with me and that they feel properly represented. I often spend time supporting my clients out of hours, into late evenings and weekends. Their difficulties don’t stop at 5:30pm. I also make sure that my clients understand the legal process, which can be complex and confusing.
Outside of work, I am extremely family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I enjoy exercising and try my best to join in with activity-based challenges, including completing a 5k run for breast cancer, and a 5k colour run. I also support Acorns Children’s Hospice.

- Keep a record of dates and advice given, even if in brief terms.

- Don’t stress about the legal case, that’s my job. Focus on your recovery.
Questions I’m frequently asked
How long will my claim take to conclude?
The average time it takes to investigate a claim and bring it to a conclusion is 18 months – 3 years.
Will I get treated worse if I bring a claim?
At the start of a claim, the treating clinicians will not even be aware of the claim as it will be dealt with by the Trust’s legal team. There should be no change in your treatment.
How much is my case worth?
As we investigate the case it will become clearer.
