Braving the elements for the Fire & Ice Walk, with Acorns Children's Hospice

Mar 11, 2022

Birmingham

We’re getting ready to feel the flames and freeze, as we join Acorns Children’s Hospice on 11 March for the Fire & Ice Walk in Birmingham.

Can you support Medical Accident Group as they take on the epic challenge? This special event will involve walking over hot coals or broken glass to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Acorns provide specialist palliative care for life-limited and life-threatened babies, children, and young people, and support for their families, from their hospices in Worcester, Birmingham and Walsall. Money raised for the charity will help their team provide essential care, from medical and emergency care to emotional support, so that each child and family can create lasting memories.

Fahmidah Ali and Elizabeth Wickson, who work closely with the Worcester hospice, will be taking on the challenge in March. Fahmidiah said: “I am really excited to take on this challenge and it is a great way of getting involved in fundraising and supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice. Acorns provides support to life limited children and invaluable support to their families. I am really pleased to be involved with such a great charity.”
