Man sat at table in a suit

Spotlight on… Peter Savage

This month we shine a spotlight on Peter Savage, Partner at Medical Accident Group.

What type of legal advice do you provide?

We act on behalf of clients who have suffered catastrophic, life changing injuries as a result of road traffic accidents, accidents at work or any other type of accident or incident including criminal injuries claims.

Why did you choose your specialism?

I knew straight away after my seat as a Trainee solicitor in the Personal Injury department that this was the area I wanted to specialise in. The ability to really change someone’s life rather than say complete a commercial transaction or buy or sell a property was what really interested me.

What makes Medical Accident Group different to other clinical negligence/personal injury law firms?

We try to take the stress and worry away from the clients and their families who have obviously already had a very hard and emotional time due to the injury.

What is your most memorable outcome for a client? And Why?

There have been many. I acted for a child In Devon who suffered a brain injury as a result of a road traffic accident. Liability was fought for many years. I got to know the family very well over that time and the settlement allowed the family to move to specialist accommodation which has really changed their lives.
